One of Delta's most important consumer segments is the Business Traveler - entrenched business people who travel 250+ days per yer as well as emerging travelers who are new to a field or profession. These business travelers are some of the biggest thinkers and innovators in their fields. In partnership with LinkedIn we created Innovation Class to bring the ones succeeding in their field together with people who aspire to follow them.
When it all boils down, what both Delta and LinkedIn do best is connect people. So we leveraged the power of physical connection through flight and professional connection through social media to create a content series that highlighted connection, mentorship and popular events and conferences around the world as a way to bring people together.
In addition to the Innovation Class content series, we created digital and print assets ranging from paid media to CRM and social to promote each unique in-flight opportunity. The partnership with LinkedIn allowed easy user experience to discover and sign up for an in-flight Innovation Class experience. Innovators and influencers that participated were also encouraged to share their experience on their social channels.
